Change Your Perspective
Imagine that your life is like a movie screen in a movie theater.
. When the movie begins, the light source shines through the film projecting an image.
When the image is “projected” from the light source upon the screen, the reflected image gives the screen a completely new appearance.
What was a milkwhite, grease-stained, chocolate-smudged fabric full of holes punched 1/2″ apart all over the fabric to allow the sound to come through the screen.
Up close the screen is a mess.
When the lights go out and the bright light of the projector turns on, the dirty screen takes on the appearance of the film.
Your life is that dirty screen.
All the smudges and scars look really ugly to you.
God the Father is like the source of all pure light and Jesus is like the film in the projector.
When His light goes on and He sees you through the blood of Jesus, He sees Jesus when He looks at you.
Discuss this concept with the Author. Can you accept that God loves you in spite of everything you have uncovered in your self-examination process?
What do I believe about these precepts?
The Blood of Jesus
The Holy Spirit
What do these critical stepping stones mean in my life?
Have I accepted them as my own at this point? If not why?
