Here is what you find in the overal process of FREE ME TO LIVE:

PHASE ONE: is intensive self inventory  consisting of worksheets designed to dig up the root problem, root out  misguided beliefs and understandings, tear down every vain imagination that crops up , and destroy every evil  work of darkness by exposing it to the light of Jesus  Christ.

PHASE TWO: moves from self analysis and examination to a building up section where  we study 14  major preceptual factors of the Christian faith that  when applied to the wounded heart, produces good fruit. The course focuses on establishing a fundamental  understanding and acceptance of:

  1. Hope in God
  2. Who God is
  3. Who Jesus Is
  4. Who the Holy Spirit is
  5. Grace
  6. Peace
  7. Mercy
  8. Atonement
  9. Propitiation
  10. Reconciliation
  11. Redemption
  12. Forgiveness
  13. Sanctification
  14. Seven-fold Effect of the Blood of Jesus

PHASE THREE: The third and final stage is the stage of letting go of the past so that you can move on into the future.  Letting go begins with forgiving others. The Bible commands us to forgive others as Christ Jesus forgives us. Thus, the Anger Stones and Bitterness Bag exercise is a most therapeutic cleansing as they forgive those who have hurt them. Next, the course focuses on the big stumbling block of all abortion victims: "I Can't Forgive Myself."  Our renouncing things of shame Balloon Release exercise helps them to pray through a complete renunciation of all things not of GOD that once had a place in his/her life.  The last phase of this third section is the closing grief-loss memorial service. This is a service not only for the mothers of aborted babies, but for those who may never have aborted, but were abused, raped, or victims of incest. Everyone participates as we give them a 'broken heart' to use to signify their broken past. The memorial ends on a high point of praise and celebration.  The last class session is all about leaving the mountaintop to return to home. One of the keys to success at this point is to have an assigned care mentor who follows up with fresh clients to hold their hand as they begin to live the Christian life.

NEXT: A look inside Phase One.
